Question about .raw file format, going between world machine and unity
Hello, Unity terrain requires a .raw file format for heightmaps. World Machine can output this, however the file extension becomes either .r16 or .r32. The only type of RAW file I can export is low precision 8 bit, which results in bad banding on the final terrain. I am playing with magic here because I don't understand… -

[Maya] Blendshapes exporting to .fbx from a referenced file
So i had this problem a little while back where i couldn't export blend shapes with my animation from a referenced rig file. I was still able to get the animation file exported correctly but i had to copy all my animation to the main file to make sure all the blendshapes got exported. So I'm curious if anyone knows why… -
huge recovery file
i worked on skinning an object, the file crashed and i continued working on the file but max slowed down rapidly, and i watched the filesize and it was 120mib, the orginalfile was 4mib so tehre must be something wrong, does someone know how i can get the recovered file back to 4 mb or something? -

Your Tri count seems fine just make sure your using them to define your silhouette and your fine. If you take something like Unreal there is so much going on, that either using 2 or 3 textures will not make worlds collide ;) Given you already use a bunch of them and there is tons of stuff going on.
