If your into that kind of thing anyway... just fancied scultping a rather large women for a change, still not to sure what to do with her though, might just throw her into a nice skin tight costume of some kind. new batman maybe? Hands look a bit stubby from this angle, but all crits welcome. Will post more updates soon,…
Been looking for references, trying to to find medium sized buildings with the flat roofs and the stair entrance to the top. I want quite dodgy looking buildings with dark alleys, like something you would see out of batman. Been looking on Google maps but cant find what I want so far.
I'd been looking forward to this since I first heard about it, and seeing it live and in person at the GDC Polycount meetup cemented it as one of my most highly-anticipated media releases this year alongside Guild Wars 2 and Batman. Good to see it's coming soon; I'm certain everybody on Polycount is going to love it.
I go back to page 4 where I find MAYBE one thread that is not game industry specific or of relevant interests to game industry people (i.e. movies, books, etc), and it's about the batman shooting. I think people make too big a deal about it all. Anyways. Let's not derail this thread.
just entered my second year studying game art and design so I figured I should start posting and sharing here! I'm still a newb, so any critiques to improve my work is welcome and appreciated. anndd here we go here's a few digital paintings i've done in my spare time, 2pac and batman!

The thread is here: https://polycount.com/discussion/217980/the-bi-monthly-environment-art-challenge-march-april-65/p1
With a very determined look on his face, the fat chinned boy said the line he had practiced all night: "I'm batman". Hi all! This is a quite late Halloween sculpt (actually started on Halloween), but it was just so much fun to create! It is based on an illustration by Marco Bucci.…
wow looks pretty coolio, love the animation on the glove thinger opening up. environments look pretty interesting and the snappy time benging on objects looks reall cool, way better than a smooth transition would. hahah on a side note the music kinda reminded me of the intro theme from batman beyond :P awesome.
If you're struggling with the smoothness of the forms, it may behoove you to straight upr etopologize what you have to get a cleaner mesh. It's what I ddi for my Batman infinity sculpt. Get it tot where the forms are basically there, and a retopo helped me achieve a cleaner mesh much faster. Whether that's a manual retopo…
the ps3, was the cheapest bluray player you could purchase up until a month or two ago, and you can also play games on it, so I wouldn't condsider it an overpriced media. Blu Ray Batman is sechs!!! I gots mine for $399 and came with a $100 gift card at walmart so realistically brought it down to $299
