Microneezia: OK i tested the export all, and obj doesn't work when importing it into 3dsmax. I discovered that if you export as an STL (make sure you type that extension when saving it.) it opens in 3dsmax. Not sure if Maya supports stl files though.
Here is the Current version of our main character Sol. Modeled in 3ds Max, and Zbrush. Textured in Quixel Suite. Still refining some of the areas here and there. Concept for Sol.
does it crash on other models, or just this one. stl check for mesh errors. My guess is theres a problem with your geo. I've had a modle that crashed the uvw editor before, an stl check revealed problems with the mesh. fixed problems, and no more crashes. mine was a 'double face' i believe... Hope it helps :)
select your mesh by verts *before doing turbo smooth* look for the tool stl check and then add it. after that convert to editable what ever your editing in, and it should be fixed. if not you might have a crazy edge and have to delete it and re make it not a big deal but stl check should clear up the problem

A lot of what comes out of solidworks wont work well for game models, your best to maybe export as stl or obj to maya or max and cleanup there than export as fbx to game engine. If the issue is not owning a 3d pacakge, you could also do the same with blender since it supports obj, and stl on import and can export fbx.
