Object, materials and layers were gone while i was working on my model. Wherein shapes in my scene are still in place.Has anyone come across a similar??
I mapped this object, and when I textured it, this happened the circles should be there, but the ovals behind them shouldn't be. When I rotate the object, the ovals move slightly. What's wrong?
I've got about 20 objects, and they are attached (but not welded). Is it possible to detach them all to separate objects (by one clik or some easy way, not one by one)?
i'm looking in 3.5 and i dont see the icons for simulate physics on selected object anymore? is this in a menu? maybe i'm missing something? appreciate any help.
Anyone experience this error; and know how to solve ?Error: (Mayatomr.Geometry) : unnamed object is not a mesh, ignored // There is a thread on this forum to which I found related to this problem, the solution is vague.
If i export an object with a displacement map from maya into xnormal will xnormal keep my displacement map applied to my object to use when making a normal map?
Maybe preventing specific objects from casting shadows onto themselves could be a fix in a way that doesn't create any other noticeable issues. And the AO map would then compensate for the areas that will be getting less shadows as a result. Disabling Mesh > Cast Shadows does this, but that option also prevents the mesh…
