Ok no answers so I suppose its going better .... so I unwrapped after fixing some otherminor detail and made the eye part of the same mesh ... What do you think of the uvmapping? I will add the other details in zbrush ...
Thanks for the video. So there's no performance gain using UDIM, compared to just assigning 1 material 1 uvmap like the traditional way? Btw I know this is an old thread. Can substance paint on multiple texture sets at once in the latest version?
Mmm I did quicer remaking the uvmap in 3dsmax ... but thanks ... Btw Here I have a new small problem I am facing ... I was painting some masks and only after I realized that the object isn't perfectly matching , now I have painted heavily and sculpted the central part that in the picture is masked and I wouln't like to…
the way i know most do it (non modular envs) is add new material with you new texture to the desired part (EG stucco on walls)and then UVmap those polys... add another new material with a new texture and UVmap those... rinse and repeat if working in max you can use the poly selection used when adding the amterial to…

How was this building put together? Is it modular? I'm having a hard time getting my head around UVmapping large buildings like these. How have you gotten it so each window section is using the same part of the texture map? I'm interested ;)
btw I started uvmapping and texturing the LP befoure zbrushing fur , because I tought to instead of zbrushing fur out to use a real skin texturing of a furry animal then use a displacement extrusion and some brushing in zbrush ... nevertired that so is just an idea ...
Hi Throttle you are also here :) ..... Anyway I did find quite usefull the new graphite tools I must admit I didn't use much but now they are just AWESOME ... I can remove unwanted edges easy and not ruin the uvmapping ^^ ...
