Hello All: Working on another asset: a torch that I will (hopefully) be able to have flames coming from the top. Working on the high poly at the moment...and I cannot figure the best way to do the 'lattice work' on the four top 'petals'. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I don't seem to be able to get max's new viewport shadows working with materials that have an .fx shader or a normal bump material applied to them. They work just fine with standard materials. Has anyone got this working?
Is it really bad that if I want to work in the game industry, but rarely find enough time after work/doing tutorials/watching documentaries to play the bunches of awesome-looking games that are out there? Is that important research I'm sadly missing?

Recently downloaded texture frank and it displays this message everytime I try to start it up: TextureFrank.exe has stopped working. I am using Windows 10. I am wondering if anyone uses this app for texturing purposes on Windows 10 and it works.
Well I had to stop working on this about a month ago as my computer hit the wall, but I recently upgraded some things and I can get back to work on it. I have a lot of work left to do but crits are very welcome.
