Hello All:
Working on another asset: a torch that I will (hopefully) be able to have flames coming from the top. Working on the high poly at the moment...and I cannot figure the best way to do the 'lattice work' on the four top 'petals'. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Also I must mention that since I am working from some concept art; the connections of the petals and the cogs are a bit hazy...so I worked from what I saw and guessed at the rest!

Ok, I've updated the model. Thickened it, re-made several pieces including the leaves and top spiral handle.

Here are some quick screenshots of my asset with normal maps / AO map. I'm pretty pleased with the normal map-it turned out better than I thought it would! Still have some cleanup on the AO though...more to come!

Ok, so I finished texturing and throwing it into UDK. Here is a shot of it in the asset browser and a shot of it in game. I'm no expert on lighting; my first go!
