Has anyone saved the pixologic interview with scott? (zbrushcentral-2005) I wanna see more of his work but this link seems to be broken http://pixologic.com/zbrush/interviews/scott_interview.html
i had this issue and i redownloaded it from pixologic, install and its working like a charm now, it seems they fix little bugs and put it up without announcing it as an update,
Im using zbrush 4r4 and maya2012.. Looking for a download link for goZ. The pixologic download center doesnt seem to have any download links for their plugins. Does anyone know where I can get this?
As far as I know they only require a school email address for the registration to allow you to purchase it. I'm sure Pixologic can let you know if you fire them an email.
I am not sure how much this will actually help you though I recommend looking at all the features Pixologic is implementing in zbrush... http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?164835-FiberMesh-Preview
Pixologic just released some great videos on their updated re-topology tools within Zbrush 4 r4. http://www.pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/lesson/Topology/#topology-brush-accessories
Krisonrik: You should probably download ZMapper from the Pixologic forums, and also the manual and guide to go with it - it tells you exactly how to get a good normal map from that application.
I think that button is labeled Standard in ZB2. Still in the topright corner. The standard .cfg file is called UIStandard.cfg and can loaded by pressing CTRL+L finding it in Pixologic\ZBrush2\ZData directory.
I have to agree with Neox I know Pixologic is really trying to convince people to do hard surface modeling in ZBrush but traditional modeling is still many orders of magnitude faster and cleaner.
