Every time I "render" or "render to texture" in 3dsmax it disables "Show window contents while dragging" in the Windows setting. This is really annoying. I can not for the life of me find a way to disable this. Anyone know how to disable this "feature?"
So I'm trying to light my environment before panel review this coming Monday and I'm getting weird lighting on the doorway on the right. any suggestions on how to fix it? I'm using mental ray with GI and FG in this render. Render type is razterizer .
Hi everyone. Here's a steampunk-inspired gas mask, about 5500 triangles and a texture size of 2048px ( base, normal, metallic, roughness and an occlusion map ). I used Blender for 3D modelling and Substance Painter for texturing and rendering. Renders Making-of Sketchfab model
So I also finished another rendering in CryEngine. Hope you like it :D As always a video for turntables. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3f4jNcDmpE"]MedievalDude PBR Realtime Render - YouTube[/ame] Aaaand.... SOME FUN !! :D :D :D
Yes uvs are smoothed if you use openSubD during rendering. But there are settings for corner pin and so on. Depends on the renderer you use. Smoothing could also be turned off.
Thanks! There will be more of them in the future. They're a blast to make. Here's todays spitsculpt. 45 minutes sculpt, about the same for render & post. Sculpting was fun, render was meh.
Is this after you re-render in high res? if the default resolution isn't very high or you haven't rendered it high res, it might be the preview icons which are tiny.
Joe, i think this is set up for Arnold renderer, which does a stupid thing where IOR is for dielectrics and specular is for metals. pre-rendered tech is dumb. lol.
It means to render an aspect of a models shading into a texture. It can be AO, Diffuse Colour, lighting. Its also known as 'render to texture' http://www.3dmax-tutorials.com/Rendering_to_Textures.html
