So i recently got vray for 3ds max but i don't have the vray mtl in my material editor and so I cant do any thing that tutorials tell me to for creating a vray material with, it whats wrong?
Add a STL Check modifier above the Editable Poly base, as well as a Edit Poly modifier above the STL Check -> rightlclick Edit Poly modifier -> "Collapse to". Should fix the problem and is easier than deleting and creating faces ;)

Microneezia: OK i tested the export all, and obj doesn't work when importing it into 3dsmax. I discovered that if you export as an STL (make sure you type that extension when saving it.) it opens in 3dsmax. Not sure if Maya supports stl files though.
