Sorry, I mean the amount that it is exposed on each section of wall is very uniform, if that makes sense? You have the same plaster on brick used next to each other a lot and it makes it look a little repetitive. I think a couple of variations would help to break it up.
Hey man, sorry I didn't get back to you. Yeah, that's a really good point. Hopefully I'll get around to setting it some kind of context and get some ideas for more props. I think I'm swaying toward the snowy/mountains kinda thing.
I remember seeing these in your sketchbook. I really dig these environments and props. Kick ass stuff there man. The sculptures on the other hand detract the quality of the portfolio. They're okay, but they don't compare to the best that's out there. I second on the car. It just screams "generic." Sorry to say.
Thanks for the responses guys. I saved - quit, reloaded UDK (the issue was still there), then i rebuilt lighting, and it went away. WEIRD! So sorry I can't provide you with that screenshot of just lighting, obviously i'll bump this thread if it happens again and attached said picture. :)
Oh right, yeah its on the other side sorry about that. I'll try to add some rivets then in between and see how that pans out. I'm not so concerned about the texture on the rock its just the large indents that are the problem. Thank you for your input here.
Just a few Photoshop filters later sorry the quality is a bit off Using the post processing in UDK you can do this Tutorial on colour grading in UDK [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSpgZjjG2nM"]Use Photoshop to Colour grade UDK Environments - YouTube[/ame]
Pixar... is that you? Are you sure... Because I just saw one of those sequels you said you would never do and I had to agree with you, it shouldn't of been done. Now you're tempting me with this? Best way to say "I'm sorry" EVER!
Looks like there is no problem after all, only my misunderstanding of the topic. I think I just need to embed color profile into the image and hope for a viewer to respect it. And you can't actually "bake" anything into the image. Thanks for your help guys and sorry for a lame question:)
Sorry that was me being rude and not taking the few mins to put an image up. It was tricky to explain without the correct term for the detail element. So here's a picture :) I am being super picky but since the scene is so damn good it's a shame for something so trivial to be there.
Sorry, that came out a little vague. I meant that those units can be anything. You could make an entire tree fit in the space of one unit, or just a single leaf. Decide on a scale for your jump, then make that one unit within the 3D program of choice.
