For some reason, its like the brush is inverted, its acting as if i've selected Zsub, but even when selecting Zsub, it acts the exact same. Seems to do the same for claybuildup too??
Is there any way to select a group of faces in the uv editor and then click a magic button and have those uv's broken off around their boarder edge only not their internal edges?
Does anybody know how reset the selection brackets, they some how managed to rotate out of place when i attached the eyes, and if I try to apply symmetry then the mirror is off
Anyone know of a script (or other method) to convert a uv face selection into its border edges, like can be done in edit/editable poly via shift-clicking on the edge icon?
I don't know if you're aware, but many of these text-editing programs allow vertical selection by holding the Alt key while you select. This allows you to select, copy, and paste colums of characters. I know this works in Microsoft Visual Studio, SciTE, and Notepad++.
Is this what you need (select all objects and run)?: $objs = `ls -sl -fl`; for ($obj in $objs) { select $obj; ConvertSelectionToFaces; $buff = `ls -sl -fl`; polyProjection -ch 1 -type Planar -ibd on -kir -md b $buff; } select $objs; TextureViewWindow;
Hmm, thank god they finally put soft selection in. Soft Modification tool was just about the worst implementation of a soft selection thing I've ever seen Multi-selection should be nice. Will have to see if we can get this update at work, should be useful.
It's probably not disappearing, but shrinking down to where you can't see it. A good way to check this is to select everything that is still visible (Don't just marquee select an area- ctrl click on individual shells) and then invert the selection. Resetting your Xform usually fixes it-- in my experience.
The awesome thing is u do not need to select any renderer. Just rename ur meshes according, select them, Textools automatically figures them out due to naming, select bevel shader and click bake and wait for the render in your UV image window.
When using a tablet it's so ridiculously easy to move an object by accident when trying to select it. This script makes sure you're always using the select object tool instead of move,rotate,scale. It's the same as pressing Q. But automates it everytime you make a selection.
