Ah thank you guys! At first opening photoshop with my pen worked, aaaand then it stopped working. I just recently tried closing photoshop after selecting a brush with my pen, and then re-opening it with my pen and that seemed to correct the issue. How finicky XD
After looking at the MEL for that script, my only hunch is that somehow you're selecting the transform node instead of the shape node somehow, but that's a shot in the dark. When in doubt with Maya, either delete or rename your prefs folder and restart. That will force Maya to re-create the default preferences.
Also you can select multiple objects, apply UnwrapUVW which applies an instance of that modifier to each object and unwrap them as if they where one object or individually if you like. The advantage is that they remain as separate objects and don't need to be split back off after your done.
got the same probs in mal 2009 too - already tried it. :/ anyone got a good idea how to solve this or knows a good "hand selection" script? tried the ones i found on scriptspot - one didnt work and the other only works with 4 fingers and one thumb.
It looks like you're baking object space normals, which is probably not what your engine is using. In xNormal go to the Normal Map options where you select what bakes you want. There will be a box with ellipses to the right, click that and check mark 'Tangent Space' and rebake.
Resolution was 1152x864 The theme is whatever the default it. I haven't changed/selected anything edit: Actually, I should be clearer... its fine when viewing the rest of the board, but I'm getting thrown off by Bitmaps image. Sorry about that, it's probably not what you were looking for.
is reseting the Xform the same as selecting the object from the modifier list and then converting it over to an edible poly? I've tried that and UVW Xform, both without success. I've even deleted the uvs and tried unfolding them again and the result looks like the above screenshot every time.
Yeah, Human IK all the way. Full body IK and pinning any joint are pretty awesome features. I tend to hide the FK skeleton in the viewport because it doesn't update while moving the IK. You can still select the FK joint by other methods.
Hue/Saturation and Color Balance should be more than enough. Then when matching, change your RGB sliders to HSB and start by matching the Hue value - then move on to saturation and lightness. If highlights and shadows also has to be matched or tweaked, use a Levels layer or a Selected Color -layer
i have *never crashed photoshop - from version 2 onwards - until the other week when i crashed cs2 twice on hitting ctrl-d to clear a selection while (i think) moving the wacom a distance. It was prefaced by the cursor dissapearing, and then hang watch out for it
