2/. Ocean Shader. The big deal is the waves. I tried to achieve it with dynamic tessellation, but it squeezed my PC so badly. World position offset is not so bad for this situation. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3gyQPKCJJg"]UDK 201305-15 04-35-43-20 - YouTube[/ame]
Hello polycount people, Well, my first message and 3d work at the forum. Game weapon for a videogame I am working on. High poly finished, now I am going to start with the low version. Done in 3ds Max except for the handgrip relief in Mudbox. Of course any review or feedback to improve it is really welcome. I hope you like…
Hello, I was hoping i could get some answers in here; I was watching this livestream : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-AFNe-gtZg&t=490s&ab_channel=JaredChavez min 3:43 and for the baking he's only using one low poly mesh, yet he has multiple high polys for the baking, How does this work? Shouldn't there be the same…
Very nice Sergi! That character is quite awesome. I couldn't stop watching your time lapse. Thanks for putting it together :D I wanted to ask, what tool are you using to shape the eylids at around 1:43? The pink wireframe leads me to believe there's something besides soft selection and the translate tool going on there.
it was 101-111 F *38-43 C * for 2 weeks here in tx. with the humidity... it was pretty damn hot. An old couple only had a window AC unit and the husband died on the front door step from going outside and the wife died in the bathroom all in the same day. :( Least tornado season is over. I think.
I should explain a bit clearer. The TOP image is with a 255/255/255 white light. Someone asked if my default light wasn't white. So to prove that it was still acting odd, I changed the colour of the light to 43/200/255 (random numbers). The imported mesh picture shows the mesh with a 255/255/255 white light.
So I am trying to achieve opacity via the alpha channel so I can use opacity with Xoliuli's shader. Specifically how he uses it here http://www.laurenscorijn.com/shadersetupvideo2 at the 43:50 mark. So a short tut or a link to one as to how to do it in PS would be great. I have tried doing it myself but I am obviously…
I'm working on a Chinese roof, and the corner part stumped me. How can you make a perfect roof corner in Maya? In the Polycount Acadamy video, at 7:43 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xC0uL_QQWeY&t=464s), he could do symmetry in 3d max that turned out ideally 45 degrees. Is there a way like this in Maya?
