I think skulls throw the design of this shield completely off balance, it does not match the other material type for example if I wanted to have skulls on the shield then I'd make the shield out of bones and leather rather than thick iron and wood, it does not make any sense, so right now it's better off without the skulls… -

I think the design could benefit from some areas of rest and a better focal point. My eyes aren't really drawn to one particular thing on here. I would think that the focal point would be the skull shape on the head of the hammer. You have tiny little spikes pointing towards the skull in the center, but then you have these… -

I've finally found a job so I try to finish this asap ! =) I'm working on a substance which would be a mix of bones/skull and rock/cement. Not entirely procedural, some height bitmap are baked from the skull I might add a bit of variation as I enhance the material. Very rough it will be way better since it's just a start.… -

Thanks a lot Mop! The design has a large belt with a skull, above the navel, like some gladiators and wrestlers. For that reason, the waist is so high, i know the high trousers are not very cool, but i didn't know another way to put the armor parts. Maybe a weak point in the design hehe.
