compared to some of the block heads on the board i consider you a softy. :) i guess some people look at that pic and laugh because they think its a bug. but there is another group of people that laugh because its a feature. i have not really known any animators who would trade in maya for another app once the have worked…
Tired of being an ordinary and maybe poor character artist, this time I decided to push my skills to the limits to produce some good piece of art for my portfolio, to focus more on my mistakes and to learn a lot from who would like to help me with critique. This community is great and this is the first WIP I'm posting on…
What is Network? Network is an up-coming free-to-play First Person Shooter game set in its own unique sci-fi world. The game focuses on tight combat, a dense atmosphere, and high quality visuals. The game is multiplayer only, meaning maximum quality of the game in that regard bringing you pure multiplayer brilliance.…

In context of what was brought up in other thread it should be noted: Blender in particular makes the texture look pale when the image Color Space is set to "Non-color", but it will read correctly by the Normal Map node. It can get a little confusing because of that.
I've been attempting to follow some of the official tutorials for Substance Designer, and I am running into a problem with the material blend node. Whenever the tutorial uses it, it seems to overlay the normal maps of the two materials. When I use it however, it seems to just copy one over the other, and half the data is…

I edited the post with the new link. ------ I'm doing the nodes equivalent of refactoring code, still a work in progress, but I got a few interesting things to show. Technically I already can easily create hair with them, I just want to wrap up some…
I have been working on my roof, and I am considering two approaches to achieve results similar to No Rest for the Wicked. Since the game uses a top-down view, their roof tiles are quite flat because they don’t require much depth. However, this wouldn’t work in my environment, as I want it to work well from multiple angles.…
Hey everyone, the advertising studio I work at has been needing some freelance flash coders for some small web games we're making. If you've got a portfolio of work I can check out, then shoot me an e-mail at scott "AT" liquidadvertising "DOT" com. Thanks!
re-ai code generation.... I was playing with around with Deep-Seek the other day.... It comes across as a "Bullshitter".... it talks a good game, all the right buzz words and superficially the code it generates looks kind of right but it's only skin deep, if it would compile it wouldn't do what it was supposed to do. :/
