Holy those look amazing! I wonder how extensive the animation component is. It says it can do virtually any animation in the faq, including waves and waterfalls. hehehe, I was asking Matabus if he'd mind, but now that I think of it, why would he? I'd lose the crate, maybe put a bush or something next to it, crates are way overdone in games, why is the crate next to the outhouse anyway? you could probably rearrange the texture so it could be used on other models as well, I could… -

i definately always like the abilety to edit of creat things that exsist ingame .. like in rpgs creating characters and relationships , and in some games , the abilety to customise elements of the world ... i remember spending ages painting my own character faces for dungeon master 2 ... i wonder what could be done with… -

Vassago, for my current project the base/shell of the scene was built using modular pieces. It's simple and easy really - just start with a base shell of the area you want to use pieces on, then sub-divide that giant face in to a bunch of sqaure'ish quads which will ultimately define the size of each modular piece. Concepting, what is your process?
I've been concepting in 2 different ways. I use the traditional 2d sketch approach and the 3d approach using scuptris. The same thing can be done using dynamesh for you Zbrush aficianados. I'm finding the quick 3d sketch helps me more because I can define the entire character in a rough 3d form and see it from all angles.… -
Layered materials using a texture as a mask?
Hey guys, I don't know if this is stupid or not, but I'm trying to make a layered material that blends 3 materials using a simple RGB texture mapped to UV Channel 3. batchtools , mutator doesn't allow assignment of output groups
as per title. I don't appear to be able to set output group names on a graph created by sbsmutator -- specialization. My input graph has group names defined but they're not carrying out into the created sbs. This is a pain as I want to create a graph that contains bake outputs i can feed into other graph templates easily… -
