Singe Texture multiple materials
Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask if there is any benefit of having multiple materials using the same set of maps (diffuse, normal, gloss and metalness) I am working on this project where I was told that I can use more than one material. I just can't find any advantage of that. Am I overlooking something? -

Maxscript to select every other face / edge in a ring?
Has anyone come across a script like this? I find myself selecting every other face or edge in an edge loop quite often. Looking for something similar to the pattern selection tools in Modo. Thanks! -
