Hello, I made this little scene in 3ds max based on a concept of conceptroot.com I broke up the scene in parts and started modular modeling. Then I came up with this, it's far from finished but I thought it's worth posting so I could get feedback.
Complete noob question. What did I press or turn on to get this to happen in my scene? I created a new scene and made this same object and didn't have this problem. It seems to only happen in orthographic views. Thanks.
Hey, I decided to rework the witcher tavern scene that I made 4 years ago. Would love to hear your thoughts. The major focus of this thread will be relighting and color grading. - Shots from the old scene - Current changes. Changed and optimized textures and models
The floor was looking really cool originally. It would be nice to see it in the scene to see how it looks. Get a screenie of the scene as soon as you can even if it's rough and remember about lighting!
Hey, I have started working on a new scene, here is a desk prop I'm using in it I will be posting more of the props as the scene progresses. Again C&C are more then welcome.
This looks like it could be an interesting scene. I would block everything out and get it all the shapes working together in the scene before you begin with textures though. Keep it up! :)
not sure if you mean switching rendering modes or changes the actual lights in the scene. But try right clicking on empty space in you scene and turn on lights(or shading)/turn of flat shading
added some street lights to illuminate the scene a bit more. Also, I plan to render this scene in day and night for my folio but for now it will just be night. More crits please.
Awesome work! The Freight Train challenge reminds me of the Oldboy fight scene ( scene: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ufss5ot_vGE"]Oldboy Epic Fight - YouTube[/ame] ) xD
Lurker here! That hallway scene and the alleyway were enough to get me to log in and comment! Great job, you have a lot of talent! Your orange scenes are extremely life like.
