I love your stuff because everything is polished to the very end. Getting tired of seeing people just making highpoly models and not bothering about texturing and rigging and all those other delicious things. Nice to see a true professional. Some small crits from me: The Zbrush male is not as interesting after seeing all…
There's nothing wrong with flash websites. But when designing a portfolio site, you always have to keep the user experience in mind. One of the nice things about your current site is that when it loads up, there is some of your work immediately on display. That's something that every portfolio site needs to have. You don't…
VFX I created a layered sandstorm using Niagara, incorporating flying particle effects and sand clouds. To add more depth and richness to the scene, I also designed a moving sand decal for the landscape. Here is a GIF to showcase it. And feel free to give me feedback about it. This is my first time using Niagara.
I've been using Sequencer for exactly this. With UE5 there are significant improvements with Sequencer and ControlRig. If you're limited to using UE4, you can still pull off results like this even without setting up raytracing project settings. Feel free to check out my portfolio link below. The most recent posts…
Really cool! I think your Artstation post could benefit from a few renders showcasing the polygons only, I know I was curious to see something like it when I was scrolling, and was a little sad that there wasnt :] Must feel good finishing a project that took so long!
So I've planned to make my first scene and i wanted to post updates to get tips and critique from you guys. I didn't put it in 3d art showcase cause i foresee this post being a lot more of me asking questions when i'm stuck on something (i will probably post a showcase when done). So my plan for the scene is a lone…
Okay so... Didn't know where to put this thread really. But whatevs. While most people on here want crits and feedback on their work, I'm not doing that, at least not now anyways. I think most of you have heard of the website 'Carbonmade'. They offer a free portfolio with a limited amount of pictures and projects, unless…
I would add some: 1. Audi TT models. These were really popular a few years ago as the basic shape was easily replicated with few tools, making it a perfect "tutorial" car. 2. Any model made popular by tutorials for that matter, vehicle or not. 3. Desert Eagle or any popular weapon type including random looking sci-fi…

Afternoon:poly117: Just wanted to pimp something I've been working on for a couple of years. Started out way back when Daxter for psp was released, and did some fanart modeling and animations in Maya. Last month or so, I picked up the character again, re-riged him and put him into Motion Builder. Also did a quick enemy…
