I saw the CG trailer first, a month or so ago, and it looked awesome. Seeing the actual game reminds me a lot of, as other people have already said, Half Life 2, and a bit of Bioshock Infinite. I get a free subscription to Digital-Tutors through my uni... but in all honesty the more I've progressed the less I've used them. They cover a lot of stuff and are great for introductions for applications, but it kind of stops there. They're really quick to cover applications that are becoming popular... But yeah Eat3D… -

Well I could be wrong about this but its probably something akin to the Uncanny Valley effect. Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_Valley. It definately happens in cg films for cg humans. I imagine there is something similar for environments, in which humans perceive something which is close to real but… -
