Hello. I have a shading error on this model once is rendered in-game model and animation are working ok in maya and in a directX viewer (final file format is .X) so any help is much appreciated and if some extra info/images are needed just ask for it and I'll put it here ASAP. Thank you all in advance
Nice! Looks beautiful, love the stylization. Can you share a bit of the creation process for these rocks? I’m guessing maybe a macro-sized bake for unique normal map, combined with micro-level tiled detail maps? Reminds me of some of the work Naughty Dog has shared here before.…
Hi thereI'm having some shading problems with ray tracing featureWithout raytracing model looks smooth, but with it weird shadows appear on wireframe edges. Like it ignores the model smoothing. Is there a way to fix it?
There are things that can assist you. The wiki has everything you need, and a whole lot more: wiki. I put some stuff below that might help. Some of these points dont relate directly to your work above but are general to keep in mind. 1/ Anatomy: That is really the first thing with figures. A good practice is to start your…
Hey peeps, As the title says, I was wondering if anyone knew of any paper that discussed the code of a UV-less Aniso shader, which worked more with the pixel/vertex information and Normal maps. Cheers.

Ahoy fellow vertices and other geometrical shapes, I have a problem in a little water shader I'm testing out, I used depth fade for the opacity of the water, which works fine until refraction offsets the object, so what I'm left with is the low-opacity outline of the object before the refraction takes place: What I've…
It would help to hide the armature, so we could see the model better. It would also help to show a shaded wireframe. Did you create this model, or did you download it from somewhere? I ask because the rig complexity indicates a decent amount of experience, yet you seem to be asking a more beginner-level question. This info…
