Male portrait: A Hard Life
A portrait of a man who has lived a hard life. This started as a sketch and turned into a complete portrait because I was having a ton of fun with it. Tons of room for improvement but... gotta keep movin'. ZBrush, compositing in Photoshop. -
Hand Painted Spooky Book - "Necronomicon"
A hard headed attempt at hand painted texturing. The second image is how I' imagine the book would work - the Lovecraftian definition explains it as a means of learning, describing and summoning the Old Gods, so that sounds like a good enough reason to use tentacles! -

Zbrush Hard Surface Tips
I'm having trouble sculpting hard surface objects. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or a solid tutorial to maintain sharp edges yet in certain areas, makes objects feel more organic? Anything would be appreciated =D -
Re: Hard Surface Stuff
Many of the edges look rather hard. Very hard edges usually don't bake down well to your normals, so you may want to soften them up.
