If I was doing this, I would push the painted look a little. A lot of AO to get that drybrushed look. The bump is out of control. You need to fine tune the spec and colors to get really convincing material surfaces
Hey guys and gals lol.. I am in need of learning how to bake textures from high to low ploy or just to make textures look real good using normal, spec and other maps for model and how to apply them to a model in 3ds max..Any good sites?
Hey there, i got following question. is there a way to check out the values for the spec and gloss maps in substance designer to get correct pbr values that fit into a next gen engine like cry or ue4? in photoshop i used the mean to get proper results
You might consider upgrading the 1070 to an RTX card if you want to do ray tracing stuff. Otherwise, your hardware specs are completely fine. Your computer is not holding you back from making good art work.
I can't comment on audio software market at all, but for games, you'll want to show models that can be rendered in an engine with normal, spec, gloss maps etc. Ideally these props would fit with the style and quality of whatever studio you are applying at.
Decided that it was time for some lowpoly action concerning ME :poly003:. So I think i've just finished the model. Going for something like PSP specs. Here are the reference images I made today. They don't line up perfectly though. Crits and comments most welcome!
Hi guys ! This is my new realtime char, personal work... His name is "Fallen" In this character I just want to render out my own vision of demonic creatures and stuff. used triangles 24547 for all 2048-2048 textures for Char and Weapon *color *normal *spec *gloss *glow *alpha
I like the specs of the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity better, but wondering opinions by others. IPad has the highest display resolution but far as I know pressure level is still at...what 512? http://youtu.be/yhp9it10YHc
Hello, Everyone I decided to try my hand at making a bow, and this is what I came up with. So let me know what you think and how I can improve it. As of right now all it has on it is a diffuse map but I am working on making a normal and spec map.
So i got linked to this and it looks like a pretty great program I watched a video about how to take your diffuse and from that make spec, ao, and normal. sounds too good to be true. anyone experience with this? would it be better to use than xnormal? i'm trying to get the hang of that now.
