No it's not a pluing. Adobe made "material" panel few years ago where you could load sbsar. it reads a layer as rgba input. Makes it into smart object and put live sbsar processing on top of it. UE4 believeable character scalp UV? how to make that
so in the stream they make 3 uvset for hair from xgen in unreal. one of them is a uv of a all the hair flattened based on the scalp so the artist can apply noise color on the hair. how to unfold the xgen hair to that haha im confused as hell -

Making a Minotaur rig, need help with the head.
So I'm making a rig for a potential project for later. I'm building the base mesh in MAYA and I plan on adding detail in mudbox. I'm pretty happy with the mesh so far, but I'm have trouble with the head portion. I've gone at it a couple of different ways but I'm never really happy with the result. Any tips would great! -

If your having trouble raycasting to a larger lp: make sure geometry is within a reasonably even proximity to the hp, uv's are layed out with no overlapping or stretching and the topology has the minimum basic structure for holding any sharp angles to avoid shading/lighting problems. *You could do it the other way round…
