so in the stream they make 3 uvset for hair from xgen in unreal. one of them is a uv of a all the hair flattened based on the scalp so the artist can apply noise color on the hair. how to unfold the xgen hair to that haha im confused as hell
The first one is the uvs xgen gives you for spline meshes.
The second looks like UVs from the distribution mesh - probably projected onto the hairs using transfer attributes(I don't think there's a way of carrying that through the geometry conversion but don't quote me on that.)
The third is a simple auto unwrap and pack of the generated meshes.
