I recently worked on this Chinese courtyard environment as part of a team where I was the Art Director. It was motivated by the recent Chinese New Year of the OX with the iconic wishing tree's and lanterns that are commonly seen within the Chinese culture. If anyone does have any feedback or critique then please do let me…
Just stumbled upon this, and as someone who prefers using zSpheres for making trees this looks amazing! http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?184042-ZTree-Plugin [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GhQurFEyXg[/ame] [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsXHGDfc6UM[/ame] [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kH33GVVcsw[/ame] I know what I'm…
Thank you :D It's honestly thanks to all the wonderful critique and advice I've gotten from this thread (as well as a little bit of self-education) I think I can call this project officially done though! I adjusted the lighting and redid the fence to look a bit more natural and inline with all the other palm trees. I…
Hopefully not too many images =\ . Tree is the most recent with the Flag being the oldest. Rhino was done somewhere before the tree for something quick and fun. I'll prob get around to texturing him sometime and maybe rig him up. Hes not quite done yet as I could prob clean up some poly's around the lower head (Mouth) area…
1. My favourite is procreate, it's made for multitouch ipad only and has lots of innovative features and a cool brush engine. Combined with an Adonit Jot touch 4 (guess not compatible with ipad 2) it's real fun and receives serious updates time by time. Export to i.e. psd is possible via email or dropbox. 2. Sketch Club…
Just a few suggestions (I know it's not finished yet): - Just from a game play perspective - one way you could up the challenge is by adding different types of trees, along with some sort of building time for them. So lets say you can build a "small tree" in one second, but that small tree only stops pollution by 2 points…
Working on a spooky Halloween scene in Maya! I would love any Critique and advice you guys may have!!! :D My reference for the tree is the Creepy Trees, Eye tree!
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas break and New year. This was a 6 week team project in which I was the Art Director for and we were given the theme of "courtyard" that we had to loosely stick to. We decided to go with a Chinese cultural aesthetic being inspired from the recent Chinese new year of the Ox…
I used your renderUV script and mixed with one of mine. Now the script count black pixel on the uv map, and drop a percentage of "wast uv space" depending on the wanted size of the map. result just below my code is perhaps not very optimised, but its working well on editpoly object just select an editObj and run the script…
Looks pretty good, Benji. Well presented overall, but you may want to cut some of the intro to get right to it. Couple quick things: The tree that is centered and rotated around is more like a background tree than a centerpiece. Id expect this tree to be large, thick, with wild roots and crazy limbs (lots more detail)…
