Working on lowPoly. Final model needs to be <= 800 -
computer performance upgrade help needed
I have a Intel core 2 guad 2.4 ghz, 4 gb ddr2 800mhz ram, nividia 8600Gt with vista home basic 64-bit. I want to improve the framerate for navigating in max2009 and also amount of polys it can handle. I would assume to upgrade the ram to 8gb (its the max for my motherboard) to solve this. but im not sure if anything else… -
Map size doubles after new light build
My map was 340mb using my own lights. I then decided to copy and paste someone else's light and fog (deleting mine). After I build lighting my map is now 800mb. Is there a process I have missed? Is it somehow saving the old shadow info for the previous map? (I just copied the fog and light icon, nothing else). I haven't… -
