Heya so iv stored a morph target so i can fix up the edges, but the issue i have is when it nears the middle i cant get it to overlap at all. I was wondering if this is just a trial and error thing or if there is a better method for getting nice patterns onto a piece like this (its sci fi Armour)
Hi, Is there a way to procedurally mask a layer by height using anchor point? Basically, I have a wall panel and a height map representing inset/outset, how can I "apply different materials based on height procedurally"? If not, what's the alternative? Thx!

I'm working on a personal project and I'm not sure how to proceed here. I'm not even sure if I'm doing this right. It just looks wrong to me. Is my edge flow correct or should I start over and take a different approach? I'm uncertain if this is going to work.

Some time ago I acquired a script that essentially took a normal map, duplicated it into a folder with all the blue information removed and it overlayed perfectly onto my baked normals without any color degradation. Unfortunately I sold my old comp and forgot to back up that script. Does anybody know what I'm talking about…
Additive blending is no longer supported in Toolbag. What you'll likely want to use is Refraction or Thin Surface for the outer shell of the eye. You can enable either mode in the Transmission panel in the Material Editor. You may want to select the shell mesh and disable shadow casting on it as well.
