Why would you want to create a 16 color image from a 24 or 32 bit one? Usualy, if you want a 16 color texture you paint it that way so you can choose your pallet. If you texture in 32bit color and convert to 16 you end up with a dithered mess, especially on DS size textures. If you convert a 1024 x 1024 texture for example… -
