The project im currently on is running high in the polycount numbers and with edge faces on the frame rate drops dramatically... I use a combination of "Shaded+Edged Faces" in the view port when modeling. The same number of polys on screen with edge faces off is fine, but when I enable edge faces frame rate drops...anyone…
Maybe the 212 evo. I've been running my 5820k @ 4.0ghz daily with 0 issues. It's a great cheap cooler. He also shouldn't need more than 650 watts max for everything.

If you're on PS 2017, that would probably cause this. Use PS 2015, 2014, CS6, CS5, or CS4. If it still persists afterward, my recommendation would be to install the Suite to a new folder - like *\Quixel SUITE 2.2\ instead of the default.
The 212 comes with good paste. Also make sure to just use a pea dot on the center! I made the mistake of using too much paste on my build a few years back and it was a long cleanup :(
Jeff: Modelling on a trackpad sounds like a real PITA tbh :D monster: Those are some really nice laptops. GS70 StealthPro-212 seems really robust - something that doesn't have to be replaced after a year.
An Update.. but the thing is, when I render, since I have my GAMMA set to 2.2, it changes it when I save the file (.png). Umm if I set my output of bitmap files to 2.2 as well, from 1, will the image be... well 2.2+2.2? or just 2.2?
