Here is my entry for the AMD Radeon rendering challenge at CGtalk which won first prize. It is a surreal scene of roach stealing donuts. You can find the process of my project here, http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=452&t=1476116 Enjoy!

The only hard limits for UDK are StaticMesh: 65535 ( 16 bit index) vertexes SkelMesh : 4,294,967,295 ( 32 bit index) vertexes 45k tris seems to be normal for "next-gen" characters.
I just went through the list on the wiki and these aren't working anymore. http://jobs.edge-online.com/ - ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED http://www.businessofgames.com/jobs/ - 404 http://www.jobsingames.net/ - redirects to WIX website with error
Thanks for that. Always wondered about that. No wonder it takes me so many verts to get head/faces the right way. My heads weigh in between 450 to 500 tris. That's mostly to get things lit correctly.
Are you using the sun sky system in Mental ray? If you are, you need to apply a gamma correction node to your color textures, and set the value to 0454. Another option is to lower the gamma value on the camera lens.
Hello guys! It's my first post on Polycount and I would like to present you with my newest piece the Sith Nightmare. 45K triangles. Zbrush, Maya and Substance Painter Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag More Renders on https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oObxEq
Burnout Paradise that is. Anyone else playing it? I've been meaning to post about it for a while, and didn't get around to it, but I just did a massive stuntrun and figured I'd find out how others were doing. 4.4 million point run - I'm quite pleased with that.

I'm running at 29-45C with a cheap $25 aftermarket fan set to like 60% power or something(was way loud when at 100%). I'm pretty surprised its running this cool actually.
