I had a workshop 'handpainted texturing' at school from Mightypea? and as some of you wil notice it's the goblin from mop from his goblin sdk thread the scaffold, the pumkin and the shrooms are my props, the other props are from classmate's texturing is all mine
also, if you want to be an environment artist, focus on making entire environments. a portfolio with a crate, barrel and dumpster does not make you an environment artist, thats a prop artist folio, and chances are props like that will be made in 20 mins by artists on the team or outsourced to china.
Allright Kimon, thanks for the post! And now that you mention it, it really is at the moment, was planning on adding more props so maybe work on those for a bit first, Will post some more when I finished some of these props, and thanks again for the reply and the good luck.

Anybody have any tips to speed up workflow? Some day's I find myself spending too much time on the prop at work. I usually use 3d max a lot for hard surface stuff but use Zbrush as well for certain props. I dunno it seems that I make things to difficult for myself with my workflow.

Update! Added some closed doors, played with lighting, added some more props (more to come!) I'm hoping to get the final props in tomorrow night, then it will be just a case of some particle effects, lighting tweaks and some post processing! :D
Hmm, last month there was a prop option as an alternative to doing an entire scene. My vote for the props would probably be the knives While for the scenes, I like this one. As a noob modeler, I'm really looking forward to participate in this thread for the very first time! :)
