I wanted to ask. For people, who have tried Photoshop for 3d texture painting. Is it any good? Is it convenient for painting 8k, 16k and 32 k textures. I am thinking of trying out mari, or 3dcoat. For me, I find Mudbox a little less intuitive. I normally use Viewport canvas in 3dsmax.

This is my first ever model of a gun. I decided to go with the XD because I own one, which makes for some particularly good reference. This is my completed low poly model. I made a high poly in ZBrush, did the low in 3DSMax, baked textures using XNormal, and rendered the shots for the image in Marmoset.
Hi there. For some reason my Hinge form edge tool in 3dsmax does this It was working fine throughout the project, rounding off perfectly until recently. Now it creates these weird elongated "rounded" caps when I hinge something. I can't find a solution and was hoping someone here might be able to help? Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm doing an art test at the moment for a contract using 3dsmax and the model needs to make use of vertex shading. I have never used it before so really my question is a how to? I can make vertex colour work in the viewport but not the shading which is what I need. Thanks for any help.
