i've used substance painter for about 2 years now and i've never had any issue switching between viewport and iray, however this 1 model i have seems to have issues between the two, it looks fine in UE4, 3ds max and substance view port but wrong in Iray, anyone happen to know a fix? VIEWPORT: IRAY:
Silhouette looks kind of wrong as a singular curved line should be made of few lines I have attached on of my old studies might help you if you see actual thing in 3d , its old so use it as a broad reference
Thank you :) Yes, i wanted to create a mix of the old and my new design. but i think i'll make it look more like the old one. changed his head, made him smile, changed alot of proportion and his arms
thanks @james swanson by your feedback, the look and feel i searching is an old brick wall whit some old pieces of paint still, like this i will try Marmoset. never use before, i will give it a try. thank you. sr.
A lot of the ones I recommend have already been mention but I will add America: The Bill Hicks Story. It is done in a pretty original style where the made all the scenes of the movie from old clips or animating old photographs to make the scenes.
Hmmm, as long as you could redo your old work, but better, it's not really a block is it? It seems more like progress :D PS Seforin: I think you've improved a lot since the last time Ive seen your old work!
How old is your computer? you should be able to work with sub-d on a pretty old machine comfortably as long as you keep things split up into layers and only toggle on sub divisions for a few things at a time.
Yep, seems the problem is bad or corrupt exported data. Try to use the new guruware's OBJ exporter or use other format like SBM or ASE. The old max2obj exporter that came with old max versions is a pure mess.
Defiantly overexposed, but I still like the old stuff. The new stuff is pretty good too. It's weird hearing new vocals with old songs, from the same band years later. Not really a bad weird, just different.
