With the announcement of D3 I was inspired and took a little time messing around in max, its more like Diablo 2.5 since its somewhere in between the style of the previous games and the 3rd installment. Anyhow, crits welcome, and yes I know the gold needs fixing and there are some unfinished assets.

did my best on an unwrap of a simple object to become a noteboard, cork board sort of thing. i made a simple diffuse but i see it being applied on each different part of the model.... the board itself, the sheets, etc. feels like a simple error along the way somewhere. can someone please help me?

I still use photoshop, but I also like sketching in Paint. I'm aware how other digital art programs are superior to it, but I like Paint boots instantly. I also like using the 1 pixel pencil and its "natural aliasing" it produces. Having no layers also challenges me to be more resourceful.
Just got back from the 7pm viewing here and it rocked!!! Keep in mind that I've never read the GN's but have always been a fan of Miller after DKR, mainly for the artwork.
