Hey,I recently I noticed this pretty nice feature on the B&Q website (for non UK people out there its a large DIY supplies store), which allows you to create a 3D room in real time by generating procedural walls and dragging and dropping existing models to furnish it. https://www.diy.com/bathroomplanner/ Also has windows…
Hey everyone! Des and I are going to be creating the Hunter's throne, the room where the famous and fierce hunter accepts their visitors and sits to look in pride upon their conquests while enjoying the finer side of life. The environment will be an indoor scene with hand painted textures and a focus on telling a story…
Hello fellow community members. After much debate about entering this I couldnt get it out of my head so I reviewed majority of the work...impressive as always. Sadly I saw my original concept posted and made poopy face, later that evening an epiphany struck me from my slumber and now I am here.....with a week left to…
Looking forward to taking part in my first contest:) All the ideas so far look pretty cool so far. My first instinct was to go for a decadent ancient throne room, but I've decided to go a little left field for this one and use another definition of throne room: the lavatory (or bog in this case) I hope this is still…
Also, (roofs roofs roofs!) in your third image you seem to have quite a chunky roof tile when the building in question has a slate tile roof which is practically flat. You roof looks more like terracotta tiles, again pushing the building towards a Mediterranean feel.
This looks fantastic! =) I do agree with the others though, at the moment it reads a bit more like a barn than a cabin. The details are really strong, especially the vegetation growing up the planks and the aged, damaged roof. Those elements work beautifully and add a lot of character.
Hey! I still feel like a noob, but I'm trying to put myself and my work out there, get some critiques, and maybe a contact or two. I'm working on an environment art portfolio and this is a fairly big piece. I'm going to share little pieces of my process here, and if I'm doing something wrong or the hard way, please let me…
after looking at images longer than last time, i've got something i wanted to mention :) 1) Guard outpost. Note: letters correspond to ones on the image attached. a - metal window frames are too thick. They are thicker than the wall which is wrong since window frames don't have same thickness as the wall, unless the wall…
The snow on the inside of the barn on the ceiling (the underside of the roof) is very odd. Unless the barn has been long abandoned, the roof would be mostly water-tight; even if there were large holes in the roof, most of the snow would fall through, exposing the sky. The snow on top of the roof looks too linear, overall.…
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a puzzle game project in Unreal Engine 5, but I’ve hit a wall regarding the overall look of my environments. I have three main areas I'm working on: * The Lobby * Egg Puzzle Room * Water Puzzle Room * 4. Puzzle Technically the gameplay works, but visually the scenes feel "flat" and…
