Fair enough, I went into it with expectations of a sequel to Quake 2, and had to let go of those along the way. Quake Wars always looked a lot more true to Quake 2, I thought.

I was wondering if there was a simple way to create the cool organic feel this Quake 3 texture has from scratch. It seems the artist used some overlays but a lot of the lines seem they were either painted or maybe paths were used. Any thoughts on how to do this quickly would be great. Thanks. Alex
