Hey, so I figure its time to start posting on Polycount and not just reading. For a bit of background I am a game design student and build source and unreal maps in my spare time but uni actually got me back into the 3D Max side of things again. Anyway feel free to post any critiques. Thanks Mat
Just a heads up for the Polycount community. The tutorials here I feel are incredibly well focused and useful for game art, something I know may be appreciated by the student who is trying to find direct and evenly paced tutorials. http://us1.campaign-archive1.com/?u=d8275f08c56bce4e497deb01c&id=3e3508f6aa&e=[UNIQID]
Hey everyone I found a post on here of a Sawed Off Shotgun made by a student in Belgium. I thought I could maybe make the edgeflow a little bit better. Let me know what you think. (I went to art school for two years so I can take harsh constructive crits lol)

I'm an animation student and decided to use zbrush for the normal mapping of my low poly characters for use in my final project. The normal maps worked great its just now I realize that I cannot unwrap the model to create textures as it screws up the normal's coords. Would anyone know of a way to get around this?
Hey Guys, we are team Dragon Egg, a couple of first year University students who figured we would give this a shot! The basic idea is Spaceship that has collided with an asteroid, leaving behind an eerie throne room style wreckage. First blockout will be up soon. Users working on this Dragoblade (Myself) Egg

I've been teamed up with other students at my school to create a video game. My main focus is on the environment art for the game and I decided to create a thread to contain my work and get critiques and suggestions. :) The game is a 2.5D hack & slash. To start off I've made a modular wall and floor pieces for the dungeon…
