I'm an animation student and decided to use zbrush for the normal mapping of my low poly characters for use in my final project. The normal maps worked great its just now I realize that I cannot unwrap the model to create textures as it screws up the normal's coords.
Would anyone know of a way to get around this?

Yeah, I would say go for using the render to texture in Max, it's a pain to do it in Zbrush due to it's alien interface, At least it is to me.
