Dimfist Oh,thank you for such a good idea and feedback. He also will have more details like a cloth, bags, may be some necklaces and bracelets with bones\stone\mushrooms and e.t.c. And I think he need get some magic staff. Torch Ok I'll try something like this
I'm agree with Dimfist , even when you have a clear idea in your head it's still better to draw atleast a rough concept. And i wanna give a small advice, try to work on proportions, and anatomy, even for the stylized characters it's important. But since it was your first expirience, you did good !
Thanks for the feedback Dimfist. I am thinking about redesigning the bracer tonight to make the armor a bit more cohesive, but I was also exploring the idea of different armor types, as if he had just found awesome armor throughout his years on the battlefield and just picked up and used what he liked.
It's a good start. I agree with Dimfist, your materials could use more definition. Also, your model and background are both very desaturated, which makes it difficult to notice any real definition or form. On the very first turn around, it looks like there is some fog volume between your model and the viewer?
Whoa thank you guys to: Dimfist Stevenson09 Fingus I'm not going to give up on this concept but I will take a break from it and start modeling other concepts to better myself as a character artist. Oh and a quick question. Would I be able to put a model that I finished from someone else's concept and showcase it on my…
I agree with Dimfist. Could you post some pics of the face/head and maybe give us some insight on what you're trying to do with the piece? Whats the direction you're looking to go with it? What references are you using? I think to give a really proper critique it would be nice to have a bit more. Looking forward to seeing…
@ Dimfist - thanks buddy! @ Marcus Aseth - Thanks for the input man! The kunais are just placeholders for now, not even sure if I should be having them at all, but a belt doesnt sound bad I must say! I was going for the original character silhouette only with modern stuff added instead. I will most def. try out some kind…
Dimfist thank you for the critique I think I'm starting to not just see but understand whats wrong with the waist/pelvic to the leg area. It is a slow process studying anatomy I feel like my biggest issue is I'm not registering what I am seeing with anatomy, if that makes sense? anyways about the arms idk if I agree, they…
@Deathstick To be honest, once ~I had done the wood I came to the metal and was stumped... I couldn't figure out how I was going to tackle it, It is defiantly an area for improvement! @ZacD I agree, once of the last things I did to just push it out before the deadline I had set myself. @Dimfist Noted!~ @heboltz3 I had it…
Dimfist, Inhert - Your comments about anatomy issue's helped a lot. I didn't see that before. So you both have my thanks for pointing it out. Also, Inhert the comments about the suit was spot on. I didn't think about how she would sit down when I designed her buttocks and thigh area. It's funny how I could not think of…
