It looks like the Turntable object is not supported in Viewer currently. What you can do is create an empty group object, place it at pivot point of the scene (this is usually 0,0,0 but you can fine tune it if needed) and then drag your mesh(es) into the group. Now you can us the group as an animation controller. Set the…
I'm glad you guys liked it. For planning I watched a ton of anime. Like as many action pieces as I could find on youtube since I didn't quite get why that level of crazy action worked. Why shots were cut in such a way or how things could be dynamic but still clear. I think I still need more practice with it though since I…
Hey man, nice stuff! I think my biggest crit is that you need to get more weight into some of your animations. The dinosaur walk in particular stands out; my first thought while watching it was that he looks light as a feather. When those legs take the weight, they really need to show it. The movement is good and smooth,…
It's not a bug. Every vertex has its own animation keys. Use the curve editor or dope sheet to adjust the keys for that vertex. BTW, personally I would animate using modifiers. Then if needed bake to a vertex animation with point cache.

The rendering isn't the problem, although it could use a lot of work, what bothers me is nothing really makes sense. You have a 30 second intro of somebody looking around a room, then 30 seconds of her falling, then 45 seconds of her fighting a mounted turret. If you are doing a small animated short you should have a clear…
[ QUOTE ] If you wanted to take the blendshape route, would you have to detach the head, or "paint" the geometry somehow so only certain verts in the head are included in the morph? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on the engine if you're going out to a game. But if just for rendering in Max, there are a couple ways to do it. If you use…
