Hey gang, Here's my latest work in progress!! =D I'm currently trying to fine-tune my topology knowledge with a low-poly base male mesh. Currently the mesh sits at 1000 polygons, 100% quads. I intend to finish the hands/feet and head later this week, and redefine the body a little more. All critiques are welcome!! Thanks,…

Working on a little pet project and trying to bolster my portfolio. This is 2018 stuff, and just a small selection of things. Intended for a tabletop D&D style game with a book. Please, give your opinions! Also, if interested, there are more of these illustration on Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/pacefactor Welcome…
Hey, I have absolutely no idea where to post this, so here I go. Would anyone happen to know what rock type this would be? I've been looking around but I can't find any concrete (no pun intended) proof of what this rock type/formation is called.…
I'm doing the Jigabachi AV from Ghost in the Shell SAC. I want it weathered with discolored/replaced paneling and presented in two poses, grounded with landing gear exposed and in-flight with her turret trained. This project is intended to improve hard surface skills, build familiarity with vehicles, and to provide some…
I'm not entirely sure what the 'Unity' calibration profile is intended for as it's been around for a while now and I suspect not based on the Unity 5 PBR implementation. I assume a Unity 5 calibration is inbound, but until then has anyone found one of the existing profiles especially useful in the Unity 5 beta,…

I'm going to most likely work on that during my detailing phase, or when I find an approach to adding fur that I like. @Pyrzern Lowpoly and posed. @natendo After adding in his pony tail he does look like he's leaning back a…

Maya is a bit different. If you are using vertex color painting, set up your colors, explode the mesh like you are doing a normal bake, then export using .fbx to xnormal. The cage, or ray distance cant cross each other or you will get errors / colors in areas you dont intend.
Tbh I don't get, at all, how a 2d trace of a car is a 'prop'? Can you elaborate how you intend to use this? Btw, unless I've missed something vital, shouldn't this whole thread be under the 2D subforum? The last 'complete' image was a screenshot that was painted over to get the final result.
