reminds of of just after 9/11 here on campus.. they evacuated the university center building because of a 'bomb'. turned out to be that an art student left their art box that contained modeling clay and wire for 3D Foundation class and someone freaked out over it.
Yes, HEAJ is a school based in belgium. We 've "flooded" this forum once with quake3 model some times ago (and this time it was asked to post model from concept to final... but you know what students are : they always wait the last minutes ) -jerome-
Hey one of my students got this weird "no constructor" kind of error with nDo in CS5. I'm sorry i can't be more specific, but it seemed related to the options dialog appearing, as it did all the actions just not show the UI. Any idea teddy ?
I'm sorry, I completely failed to introduce myself properly. I'm Brandon, and I'm a former student who has taken two of spark's character modeling classes. I'm going to work on this environment, from the start. Feel free to chime in anytime.
tried to go to the midnight showing, sold out. was going to go today since it is free for students on fridays, my friend(who is a huuuuuge Spidey fan) had to go to the ER (she's doing fine now) going to try to go sometime today
The degree will not teach you 3d and in some cases can be a distraction. If you put the hours in and ask for feedback here and in discord channels, you'll be much better than a student 4 years in a paid university. I'm a poor student just trying to practice and make some pretty scenes in 3ds max, but I'm a little stumped on how to make some glass material. All the tutorials I see are using plug-ins and I can't afford those. Any way of doing so?
Hey guys, I'm a student at Rochester Institute of Technology and I've been working on 3D Art seriously for almost a half a year now. I met a few of the Polycounters at GDC and they recommended that I start up a sketchbook thread. So here goes. I am open to any and all critique
