Hey everyone.. so im getting an issue where my render window from render to texture does not open. now allow me to specify, its not that its opening somewhere else, it does not open at all. ive tried ultramon, ive tried the reset windows scripts, all the alt+space functions, even had a friend of mine write an exe to reset… -
Drastic difference between renders in Vue and Maya
I've created a terrain using Vue. I exported it to Maya and rendered using mental ray. To my surprise, I got really different results from what I was originally getting inside Vue. Re: maya low polygon rendering
Maya's software renderer doesn't render normalmaps properly. If you've just put your normal-map into the Bump connection of your materials (default maya middle-click drag and drop behaviour) then you'll have to use Mental Ray to render this properly. Change your renderer to Mental Ray in the options and try re-rendering.… -

I'm trying to render an image out of Max 2010 that's going to be around 50,000 pixels wide. Does anyone know of a way to get renders from Toolbag2 that are print res - 300 dpi Got a client who needs some renders for a printed booklet, my initial plan was just to render out something gigantic, and then hopefully the render would be high enough quality. Any help/advice greatly appreciated!
