i just saw that on ZBrush Blog http://maximus.emecstudios.be/ A company making 3D prints in various materials, mainly different kinds of wood. I wonder how much this costs, their quote page doesn't seem to work
This game model came from a previous project I had done but now posed this time around to show more character and attitude with added turntable and ready for 3D print. Pose was referenced from the sideshow collectible.
Dell are making printers that 'print' new skin for field medics in warzones ect. It samples the skin and mass produces it and you simply print it onto the injury.
Anxious wait is over, I didn't completely waste several hundred bucks! printed through Shapeways. Wheels are PLA, rest is SLS white flexible plastic. Main chassis has been primed. 6x8" Intuos3, microSD for scale.
