Hey Guys, So in the image provided I have to LP assets with two identical normal maps. The issue at hand is that one is directly applied from a 3ds max bake. The other is the same bake map but brought into photoshop. NO TWEAKS WERE MADE, however, when exported and brought back in I get this ugly weird shading? Any ideas on…
Does anyone have an idea how I would be able to reproduce this effect in photoshop CS4 (which I own) that is in CS6? It's the ability to apply color settings on your brush per tip. (3D Coat has something similar for reference.) *Please note in this image the person who made it has the labels backwards! The only thing I've…
so.. any one know of a photoshop plugin that lets you paint tiling textures and see it tile in real time (kinda how zbrush does it) without having to use the offset filter all the time?
I've been trying to import a 16-bit (also tested 32-bit, same thing) heightmap into Photoshop, but it always stays in 8-bit mode. I've tried several file formats, nothing seems to work. Can't find any settings related to this inside Photoshop and Google doesn't seem to know anything about this either... Is this a problem…

It seems that Blender automatically corrects any sRGB gamma 2.2 images to gamma 1.0 before rendering so I don't need to do anything there, but I do wonder about Photoshop. (Although Blender appears to export renders and bakes with gamma 2.2.)…

I used Maya and photoshop to roughly paint the texture and did some final corrections in mudbox before re-exporting the obj but for some reason when I take a UV snapshot in Maya and import it…
I think it's done. Thanks for the idea, I love using it! I tried it in CS6 and it worked, I wonder if it's the same for CS5. I'm attaching a zip with 3 files in there, one of them is just a library that's required for scripts to work and two other are the actual functions. The only limitation I noticed is that if you're…

Mainly focused towards arch viz artists and the post-production workflow in the Photoshop but it can be useful for anyone doing a post-production. I use this extension every day and I can't live without it and I hope that you will find…
