Did you have more references and more important did you have think about the modularity of this House? Are you going to work with specific, tilable textures or both?
Hey All! I am currently working a modular environment project. As of now, I am transitioning from my blockout to more finished pieces in my kit. I am also working on getting my lighting in a place where its not as distracting as it is right now. My goal with this project is to get a look similar to that from the God of War…
Hello everyone. Help please. I want to create modular character. But in connect point i see seams on normal map. If this solid mesh, it's ok. How to bake separate mesh without seams?
Made some game environment design. Made idea was to create an ancient crumbled castle on top of a mountain up in the sky. Purpose of this work was to study tile and modular environment construction, use minimum of assets to create a themed environment.
A world builder friend of mine used it when building modular walls. He did it mainly because it was easy to manipulate the wall shapes etc and the UV mapping was somewhat automatic.
Looking great man! I like the the first scenes setup, the shaders really break up the modularity (or at least keep you captivated by all the lights and shiny moving parts)
Great work, would like to see more of the modular structures. I'm thinking of getting into the substance designer workflow too but kinda afraid of at the moment, don't know where to start.
WIP 09 Created so clean and detailed modular highpoly meshes, next is loader and finish spaceship and some parts, After that we can do lowpoly and bake stuff
