Thank you very much. I've found the solution by your advice. But one thing: I Cant bake colorıd map in SP sometimes. It comes with black map. But i export color map from zbrush then import to SP and everything is ok.
I wish I had gotten a 3080 over the RX 6800 I have (while I love it, Working in SP with an AMD card, god forbid if that worked....well unless you have the new SP with subscription.. which I Refuse to do ).
Hi there, Just render a diffuse map from rtt there is no magical way to do this, you can also paint it with software like SP or even in 3ds max canvas but i prefer SP workflow since you can paint all channels separately. Regards Peter
In the end its not like 3ds max is useless crap. Shame that the best feature in 2012 (unwrap) is now almost unusable. Anyone knows how much time usually autodesk needs to release SP ? I hope they will fix unwrap in SP. Except that 2012 isn't bad.
I somehow managed to solve this by simply using Substance Painter for baking, instead of xNormal. SP baked all parts from a single high poly without any seams at all. Unfortunately XNormal wasn't that helpful. Anyway, if anyone runs into this issue, just try SP.
Hey Community :D , Its my first time in a forum and I hope I don't break any rules by just opening a new topic. If so please let me know for the future. In a nutshell: I am quite new to the 3D modeling world but I keep learning. For a group project (a game) I have to make some models. I made them partly in Blender and…
Hello there. I need some help. Sorry for my potato english but I have some deepshit problem with normal map in SP. It is absolutely clear and nice in blender/marmoset3/unity, but not in sp. There r very weird artifacts or some kind of uv distortion. Baked with xnormal. Check screenshot. Thx.
I haven't used SP in a few months, I know the beta has had a slew of updates, so forgive me if this has been posted already... 1. Does SP now support 4096 texture resolution? 2. Can I switch between tradional PBR workflows and Metalness workflows?
But when he imports the FBX model with tangents and binormals into SP, he explicitely tells SP to not calculate it's own per per fragment tangents. So I assumed that the baking process would use the imported tangents and binormals and not MikkTspace calculated tangents/binormals. Is does not?
Looking for a durable/simple toy? when I saw the title I thought the contents of this thread were far more.. how shall we say neafarous (sp) ? Unfortunately I have no use for such toys unless I plan to do something neafarous(sp)
