Thanks mr umbrella man:)! I think I will make some parts unique and copy them around, in the style of copying that around used in oblivion. Like doing unique parts for architectural parts and copying those when those architectural parts are used more. I thought the mill could, besides grinding grain inside of it, also pump…
Oh dear I completely forgot I had a thread for this going. So it's years later, but I did actually resurrect this project to finish it off (I'm as surprised as you are). I carried it over to UE5 and then set up a bunch of physics driven movement, made an animation and called it done. https://vimeo.com/875856331?share=copy…
I'm kinda new to this Modelling stuff and started learning about textures and bakes. From here to now I had some progress but got stucked on this: My normal map is very pixelated and I have no clue of what could it be. The Texture is in 4k Res but the problem persists. Also I am facing another problem: One parte of my…
Hey guys! I'm working on my portfolio because I'm going to look for a job soon. Below is a stage design model I am working on but it missing soul. Since the materials are not final yet I would like to get some feedback and hopefully make the design a bit better than it is now. Tips on the presentation are welcome too!…
I think all it comes down to is reviewing NDA agreements to accommodate for extreme circumstances so there is enough time to prepare. The way these agreements are set up currently makes 3rd party seem like a dispensable liability in the face of a crisis, and simply annihilating them through a project cancellation is…
Since I've seen many people unwrap and texture every asset the same way and also used to do that myself, I want to share this tutorial with you how, and show how it's better to do it for large assets like houses. Especially in a scene that contains multiple assets. The tutorial consists of two parts. In the first one I…
I like the concept and I even like your sculpt more! The lower part of the body/the pants look very nice but I think the head could be more interesting. The concept`s head is quite punk/stylish while your version with the beanie reminds me more of a winter outfit.
Nice start mate, good ethos as well. I would have a look at the base of the cart (the wooden part at the bottom of the carriage). At the moment it looks a little like wall plaster instead of wood. Change the hue so that its closer to brown and perhaps add a subtle wood overlay. Good luck.
man, I miss junkyard wars (my only gripe was how they obviously seeded the junkyard with relative parts) This should be highly entertaining. I remember when the robot fighting shows were on, I always wanted to see something go in there with serious weaponry, and just tear the other one apart.
Either way, you'd end up with an original piece that the AI created using human art. I don't know if its fair, but I don't see it as being illegal either because to do so would mean you'd have to classify a lot of human art as also being illegal because most of what we do is, in some way or another, based off tons of art…
